PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL BROADCAST GRAPHICS

Run the match.
Take the graphics.

Prepare teams, control live match events and send a complete professional football graphics package to air — from one production system, on one operator workstation.

01CONTROL → ON AIR

One operator action.
The right graphic on air.

The operator confirms a yellow card against 16 Irakli Azarov. TAKEFRAME already holds the player identity, the shirt number, the portrait, the club crest, the match minute and the current score — so the card graphic is built from the match, not typed into a template.

02PRODUCTION CONNECTIVITY

Fits into the workflow
you already use.

TAKEFRAME produces professional IP graphics output for modern live-production environments. Route Program into software and production systems over NDI® and OMT, while TAKEFRAME stays dedicated to match data, football logic and graphics playout.

TAKEFRAME does not replace your switcher.

It owns the football: match data, graphics, Preview and Program. Your production system combines that graphic output with cameras, replays, audio and everything else on the way to air.

NDI®

A validated production output. TAKEFRAME appears on the network as a live graphics source your production system can key, mix and route like any other.

OMT

A second professional IP output path, available alongside NDI so the graphics chain fits the network you already run.

SOFTWARE-FIRST

Built for modern software-based broadcast workflows — vMix, OBS, graphics laptops and production networks — without a rack of dedicated hardware.

03CANONICAL MATCH STATE

One match.
One source of truth.

Graphics are projections of the match — not a dozen separate documents that each hold their own version of reality. The match state drives the graphics, so a confirmed event moves everything that depends on it.

STEP 01SOURCE DATA
STEP 02OPERATOR REVIEW
STEP 03 · CANONICALAPPROVED MATCH TRUTH
STEP 04GRAPHIC PROJECTION
STEP 05PREVIEW → PROGRAM
OUTPUTNDI / OMT

Update the match,
not every graphic.

Correct a shirt number once and every graphic that identifies that player is already correct — scorebug, lower third, team sheet, statistics board.

Select the scorer once.

TAKEFRAME carries that identity through the match — into the goal graphic, the event history, the half-time scorers and the full-time board.

One score.
One clock.

The operator does not maintain one clock in the controller and another inside the graphic. The same match state drives both.

04BEFORE KICK-OFF

Prepare the match.

Competition, stadium, venue, kick-off, crests, shirt colours, coaches, officials, squads and both Starting 11s — assembled, reviewed and approved before a single graphic goes near air.

TAKEFRAME Control match readiness screen showing verified, needs-review and missing facts

1NEEDS REVIEW
Your sources disagree — you decide
3MISSING
No source supplied these

Source intelligence proposes.
The operator owns the final broadcast truth.

TAKEFRAME can gather match facts, squads, crests and portraits and present them for review — but it never treats a source as broadcast authority. Evidence stays visible; the approved value is what goes on air. A missing fact is not a fault: the graphics that need it report why they cannot run, and nothing is invented to fill the gap.

05TEAM SHEET

Team sheet workspace with Starting 11 list, substitutes, squad and drag-and-drop formation pitch

Starting 11, substitutes, formation

Build the team sheet by drag and drop, position the formation on the pitch, and confirm the submitted line-up. During the match the live line-up is derived from that Starting 11 plus every confirmed substitution — the submitted sheet stays historical match truth.

06PLAYER IDENTIFICATION

Player identification workspace with portrait, shirt number, club crest and Preview, Take and Out controls

Real portraits, real crests

Player portraits are managed as identity assets and bound to canonical player records; club crests are treated the same way. Where a graphic has a club identity position, it carries the real crest — not a text placeholder.

05LIVE OPERATION

Control the match.

The live workspace is built around football actions, not graphic layers. The operator executes the event; TAKEFRAME resolves what that event means for the score, the clock, the line-up and every graphic that depends on them.

SCOREBUG & MATCH CLOCK

The match clock is canonical.

Start, pause, correct the time, control the period, add additional time, correct the score — the persistent scorebug carries teams, club identity, score, clock, period, match status, team colours and the aggregate score where a tie calls for it.

SCORE CORRECTION

Changes the score. Nothing else.

GOAL EVENT

Creates a football event with a scorer identity, and can take the goal graphic to air.

DELIBERATELY DIFFERENT ACTIONS — A GOAL IS NOT A BUTTON THAT ADDS ONE.

MULTI-PLAYER SUBSTITUTIONS

Three changes at one stoppage — one broadcast action.

Prepare up to five player exchanges in a single substitution transaction. Every exchange tracks the real player off and the real player on, invalid duplicate selections are prevented, and the derived live line-up updates with it.

07MATCH STATISTICS

Live data,
on your terms.

A full statistics workspace the operator can drive by hand, and a provider-neutral ingestion model built to map professional feeds into the same canonical statistics model.

UNKNOWN
IS NOT ZERO.

If TAKEFRAME does not have a statistic, it does not invent one. A board with no data says so rather than showing a confident nought — because a wrong number on air is worse than an absent one.

STATISTIC CATEGORIES

Every category can be driven manually by the operator when no feed is available — the statistics desk never depends on a provider being connected.

PROVIDER-READY ARCHITECTURE

Designed for professional sports-data integrations.

A provider-neutral adapter architecture maps live feeds into TAKEFRAME’s canonical statistics model. External data is treated as source evidence — the operator-approved value remains the broadcast truth.

08TWO LEGS · EXTRA TIME · PENALTIES

Knockout football,
kept straight.

First leg, second leg, aggregate and penalties remain separate — and correct. The operator does not recalculate the tie after every goal, and a shoot-out never contaminates the football score.

09PREVIEW · PROGRAM · TAKE

Preview it. Take it.
Update it. Out.

Proper playout, in proper broadcast terms. Nothing reaches air by accident, and the operator can always see what is on it.

PREVIEW

The graphic prepared for inspection before transmission. Clear Preview at any time without touching Program.

TAKE

Move the prepared graphic to Program. One deliberate action, one result.

UPDATE

Change the data of a live graphic without replaying its entire entrance, where the scene supports it.

OUT

Remove the graphic from Program using its normal exit behaviour.

PROGRAM SAFETY

Know what is on air.

The operator decides whether the system is authorised to command Program at all. Disarmed, the live output cannot be casually altered; armed, every take is deliberate. This safety layer is what separates a production system from an overlay application.

10THE OPERATOR WORKSTATION

Built for live pressure.

A dedicated Windows operator application that behaves like production software — and keeps working when the network does not.

LOCAL-FIRST

Your broadcast does not depend on someone else’s uptime.

TAKEFRAME runs on the production machine and holds its own match and session state. No cloud service has to stay reachable for the second half to go to air. That is not nostalgia for desktop software — it is broadcast reliability.

PREDICTABLE OPERATION LOW NETWORK DEPENDENCY FAST RESPONSE CONTROL OF MATCH DATA PERSISTENT MATCH STATE PORTABLE OPERATION

A desktop application, not a browser tab

Keyboard text entry, copy, cut and paste, native right-click, select-all, drag-and-drop line-up editing and professional control surfaces — everything an operator expects from software they run a match on.

Predictable under pressure

Confirmed actions, canonical state, Preview before air, controlled Take, controlled Out, clear operator feedback — and no invented data anywhere in the chain.

Intelligent preparation. Human broadcast authority.

Automation earns its place in preparation — finding data, mapping sources, assisting verification. It does not run your match. The operator decides what goes on air.

11WHO IT’S FOR

Broadcast capability
for the teams who cover football.

TAKEFRAME sits between simple streaming overlays and large-scale broadcast graphics infrastructure — giving a smaller production team capability that normally requires a much larger graphics operation.
